 Merino wool is known in the trade for its long-style, fine fibers that spin into a strong yet soft yarn.  Filson's 100% Merino wool will bring your feet years of comfort, providing warmth even when wet, plus breathability to prevent overheating.  Only comfortable, wickable 100% Merino wool touches your foot.  Then, to reduce wear and make socks last longer, we added nylon-but only to the outer surface of the sock-especially in the heel and toe.  A special knitting technique makes this possible.  In two weights.
